Since we have a fresh coat of paint, I thought I'd do an outdoor update. First up, the porch. I am in love with our porch. I think it's such a great space and really makes an impact on the front of the house. Here's a current picture of the space.

Jeremy's parents were nice enough to hand us down this cute outdoor set. It's currently a dark green color and I have plans up my sleeve to paint it black to match our outdoor lights. I bought the cute aqua (shocker, I know!) cushions at Pier 1 a few months ago and am considering purchasing outdoor pillows to lean against the backs of the chairs. Eventually, I'd love a set like this...
Something a little more bulky and I love the look of wicker. My ideal set (not the one pictured) can be purchased from good ol' Pottery Barn. Unfortunately, that may not happen for a looooong time. Oh well, a girl can dream!
Moving on. I finally went to Al's and purchased some lovely flowers and a new small turquoise pot. I love having some color around the front of the house. It helps tide me over since our lawn is currently a large, blank, dirt canvas.

Close-up of the flowers that I planted last night. Love how the pots I bought last summer look with the new paint color!

Well, that's all for now. We have a busy week or two or three ahead. My little sister graduates from high school this weekend and we are so excited and proud of her. My grandparents are in town and we are looking forward to seeing them. It's been two years (our wedding) since we've seen them. The school year is winding down and that means a lot is going on at the middle school. We're looking forward to the talent show, yearbooks, and locker clean-outs. While I'm excited for summer, that means finding a job needs to happen immediately. grrr...and I thought I was done with having to find summer jobs. Think good thoughts that I'll find something to do that pays well and I don't absolutely hate! More updates soon. :)
